Having spent two years working in architectural team and then on competitions and presentations, in the summer of 2001 I took on a newly created role of web development manager.

This primarily involved setting a new website for the European group, as well as coordinating the web presence for the group’s subsidiaries and joint ventures. I went on to deliver from scratch an Intranet available across Europe, pioneering many initiatives to improve communication and collaboration across the offices.

With the role of promoting the potential of emerging web technologies, I worked with many of the directors and sector heads to create websites and portals for their projects and clients providing additional revenue streams to the group.
